Notifications & settings
Two screens keep the app personal to you and to the property: Notifications, for the events that need attention, and Settings, for your account, active sessions, and app preferences.
Tap the bell on the dashboard to open your notifications. A red badge on the bell counts unread items.
- Unread / All. A toggle at the top filters between the unread items, with a count, and the full history.
- Mark all as read. Clears the unread state for everything at once.
- Notifications are grouped by day, such as "Yesterday", and sorted newest first.
Each card shows an icon, a title prefixed with the property name (for example, "[Azure Cove Resort] Overdue Departure"), a one-line detail such as "Noah Rossi, Room 301 past checkout time", and a timestamp. An unread item carries a green dot. Two actions sit on each card:
- View details opens the relevant screen. For a departure alert, that is the guest's reservation.
- Dismiss removes the card.
Notifications are delivered in real time and are scoped to the property you have active. Switching properties in Settings changes which alerts you see.
The Settings screen is organized into sections.
The active property is shown at the top with its name and slug. Tap it to switch to another property you have access to, and the app re-syncs to your choice.
Your account card shows your name and links out to manage your account on the web. Below it:
- Email. The address on your account.
- Property Role. Your role at the active property, such as Property Owner, which determines what you can see and do. See Users and Roles.
- Security. Opens account security options.
- Notifications. Notification preferences.
- Information. App and legal information.
- Haptic feedback. A toggle for the subtle vibrations the app uses to confirm actions.
Every device signed in to your account is listed here. Your current device is marked Current session and shows its approximate location. Tap the close icon next to any other session to sign it out remotely, which is useful if you lose a device.
Choose the app's light or dark theme. Your choice is tied to your account, so it follows you across devices and matches the web app's theme preference.
